Josh has been a member of the team since 2007 working in various areas of the company before taking on the role of draftsman in 2013 which saw him creating shop drawings for our clients and fabrication schedules for the production process.

He then transitioned into the role of Project Manager in 2019 while learning all facets of the business.

In 2021, Josh assumed the position of Operations Manager and began to construct his vision for the future of Aluco.

Now, as our Managing Director and overseeing the entire company, Josh is committed to looking to the future and how we can expand and improve all aspects of the business whilst maintaining Aluco’s long standing reputation in the industry.

Senior Project Manager

Jarrad started with Aluco in 2018 as a Project Manager.

Before coming onboard, Jarrad had over 9 years’ experience in the building industry. As a qualified carpenter, his eye for detail and knowledge of the V6 program gave him an immediate edge for estimating and production.

Jarrad has project managed some of our biggest jobs in the last few years including Nazareth College, Burnside Village and Trinity College St Yves.

His experience in the day-to-day operations of our business and ability to problem solve and assist the other project managers meant an advance into the role of Senior Project Manager this year was vital for our continued growth.

Project Manager

Nicks journey with Aluco began with hands-on experience in the fabrication and installation of our commercial window and door suites.

Nick then transitioned into a delivery driver role while he pursued his commercial pilot’s licence.

In 2021 he moved into administration to assist with supporting our Project managers, immersing himself in our operations and processes. Once he decided that life was better on the ground, Nick took on a role with us as a full time Project Manager.

With a fresh perspective, Nick has been tackling progressively larger projects in every sector including hospitals, schools, and commercial shop buildings.

Project Manager

Bill moved to Adelaide from Yorke Peninsula in 2012 after completing his carpentry apprenticeship.

He then spent 7 years working throughout South Australia on Architectural houses and general building. He commenced work with Aluco in 2020 as a subcontractor installing aluminium and glass on various commercial worksites around the state. With the experience and knowledge he has gained over many years it was an easy move for him into a Project Manager role with us in early 2024.

Bill’s level headed attitude means he is able to communicate effectively with everyone on the job from installers to clients. This proves invaluable as his role and projects grow in size and complexity.

Estimating Manager

Alex embarked on his professional journey in 1975, starting at Dowell Windows in sales & dispatch. He later moved to Cavandale Building, where he honed his skills as an Estimator and Sales/Contract Manager, gaining invaluable insights across the breadth of the building industry.

He then moved to Alulite managing the administration of all project works.

Since joining Aluco in 2001 in the estimating team, his tenure has been distinguished by notable enhancements in project management and our estimating procedures.

Alex’s sharp eye for detail and experience in many areas of the industry give him a useful edge when it comes to picking up on inconsistencies in fabrication and design.

As the founder of Aluco, Chris’s engineering acumen shows in his ability to think outside the square and his continuous pursuit of excellence. His tenure as a Sales Manager at Alulite honed his attention to detail whilst also fueling his ambition to strive for something better.

From the inception of the company back in 1994, Chris set out with a clear focus: to establish Aluco as one of the leading aluminum and glass fabricators in South Australia. Through dedication and determination, this vision has been realized, cementing Aluco’s position as an industry leader.

Along the way, after seeing how the industry evolved with overseas products and lesser quality materials being introduced to market another goal presented itself: to consistently create reliable builds using quality products sourced from as many South Australian suppliers as possible.

As one of the original Directors of Aluco, Dominic has been an integral part of the growth of the company over the last 30 years and specifically our reputation of integrity in the industry.

With a lot of hard work, perseverance and over the course of decades, Dominic has built strong relationships in the industry, who have come to depend on Aluco for consistency and quality work. This has seen us take on projects with many repeat clients.

Dominic has managed some or our major projects over the years including the Port River Expressway, Octagon Apartments, Gallery Apartments, C17 Facilities, Bice Lot 14, Churchill Road Shopping Centre and Lyell McEwin Hospital.

Project Manager

Brendan joined Aluco in February 2022 as a Project Manager.

Brendan has an abundance of operational expertise garnered from his background in Operations of various civil and cement companies across multiple domains.

These management skills saw him seamlessly transition into the role of Project Manager at Aluco.

Brendan recently completed a significant project at Findon Technical College, proving himself to be a highly efficient and capable project manager.

With a real talent for all kinds of photography, Brendan is also our unofficial in-house photographer, and he regularly photographs our finished projects.

Production Manager

Robert has been with us from the beginning and is truly part of the furniture here at Aluco.

For many years Robert ran his own subcontracting company working in commercial window and door installation, home improvements and extensions. Prior to this he worked for Alulite as a Production Manager and at Premier Aluminium in fabrication.

His years of experience have made him a strong and dependable leader for our fabrication and installation team members. Rob manages the distribution of work between the factory and our on-site installer teams with the kind of finesse that only comes from having a meticulous eye for detail and being really good at your job.

Robert’s emphasis on productivity and detail helps to ensure that what leaves our factory and is installed on sites across South Australia is a quality product.

Estimator

Ian started with us as a Trainee Junior Estimator in 2017. His training included six months on our factory floor learning the fabrication process before moving into the office to work alongside our Estimating Manager Alex. During this time Ian also obtained his Certificate 4 in Building, Construction and Estimation.

Six years later and Ian has a commanding skill of the V6 program for Estimation and Production and is the only person in our office who knows how to fix our Plan printer. Ian spends most of his time navigating V6, order placement and the administration side of our quoting process.
